Welcome to FOCS!

FOCS

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to find out a bit more about the Friends of Chase Side Primary School (FOCS)

We are a UK registered charity whose purpose is to try to enhance the learning journey of all Chase Side pupils.

We do this through the organisation of numerous events which in turn raise funds that are spent exclusively on additions to the school experience

A “Rainbow” Non-Uniform Day ~ Monday 28 November 2016

On Monday 28 November 2016, the Friends of Chase Side will be holding their “Rainbow” Non-Uniform Day when children can attend school in their own brightly coloured clothes. In return for this, the children are asked to bring in a donation for the Christmas Fayre being held on Saturday 3 December 2016 from 1-4pm.

We are asking for each Year Group to bring in specific items, all of which will be used to make the Fayre a success.  Please see list below.  We do require NEW items only please!

Nursery Packets of chocolate bars or chocolate biscuits for our Chocbola (eg Mars Bar, Penguin, Kit Kat etc)
Reception Boxes of chocolates (eg Celebrations, Quality Street, Heroes, After Eights, Chocolate Orange etc)
Year 1 Items for our Cupbola (party bag toys/pocket money toys)
Year 2 Gifts for Men (Dads, Uncles, Granddads etc)

We appreciate donations of alcohol for the drinks hamper, but please take these directly to the office.

CAKE COMPETITION: As always, cake contributions are very welcome. If you would like to enter this year’s competition for the most festive cakes, please bring your cakes to school by 10am on Saturday 3 December 2016, clearly marked with the name(s) of the person who made them. Adults and children welcome to enter!

HELP ON THE DAY: We need lots of help to run the Christmas Fayre. Any amount of time you can spare would be greatly appreciated and will ensure we can make the Fayre as much fun as possible for the children. If you can spare some time, please complete the form below and return it to the office as soon as possible. A member of the FOCS Team will try to contact you to confirm we have received your offer of help but if you do not hear from us, please come along anyway as there will definitely be a job for you!
