Wellbeing Appeal 2019
This year’s focus is on Wellbeing. We are organising a series of exciting physical and mental Wellbeing events to inspire our children and parents/carers to focus on health and the benefits of positive actions. We are aiming to raise £15,000 this year to transform the outbuilding (Chill out Zone) into a new Wellbeing Hub and fund new wellbeing activities for all pupils to enjoy.
After the roaring success of last year’s event, FoCS brings you Taste of Asia 2019! 🎉
Friday, 8th March at Chase Side Primary.
Doors open 7.30pm for dinner at 8.30 pm. Dance your socks off till close! (over 18s only)
A “curry night” with a difference: Tantalising dishes to take you on a journey through Asia.
Licensed Bar, DJ and dance to follow.
Tickets: £13.50 (includes meal + dessert + 1 free drink)
All proceeds lovingly donated towards the 2019 Wellbeing appeal.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated their time to organise and run this year’s Christmas fayre, as well as all those who came along to enjoy and support it.
It has been phenomenal! We have raised an estimated £6,700 (just waiting on final figures for corporate sponsorship). This will go a long way towards our target to buy new books for all the school years at Chase Side.
We hope everyone enjoyed the activities, food and atmosphere. We have a great school community and we look forward to many more fun events next year.
Great! Now that we’ve got your attention, please take a minute to read how you can raise funds for Chase Side School through your regular online shopping. The best thing is that it won’t cost you a penny! How do you do it?
All you need to do is visit our page on easyfundraising. You then do all your shopping as normal, but the affiliated websites will make a donation to our charity on your behalf when you check out. It doesn’t cost you a thing and you can still get any special offers or discounts exactly advertised on the websites. Please bookmark these sites or even make it your home page so you never forget.

We are now well under way with making preparations for what we hope will be another fantastic and successful Summer Fayre, which this year will be held on Saturday 8 July 2017 from 1-4pm.
We are once again fortunate that Winkworth Enfield Estate Agents have offered to support our event in the form of Board Sponsorship. This means that for every board we can get displayed outside a local property, Winkworth Enfield Estate Agents will give us £10.
The advertising board will be displayed for approximately three weeks prior to the event. It has no “For Sale” or “Sold” notices on, it simply advertises the date and time of the Summer Fayre with the Winkworth Enfield logo on the board.
This is a great way of potentially raising a large amount of money for the School at no cost to us and for very little effort. If we can get 30 boards up, we can raise £300 towards the playground re-furbishment project! If you would like to help by displaying a board, please complete the reply slip below and return it to the FoCS box in school office as soon as possible and by Thursday 25 May 2017 at the latest.
Do you have a relation in the Enfield area who would be willing to put a board up for us? Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated and valued by both FoCS and the school.
If you would like any further information about this or anything else regarding the Friends of Chase Side, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our website: www.focs.me.
